5 stars: I love this app! I have been searching for a good podcast app for years! This one is head and shoulders above all others I have tried. Easy to use. Saves your spot if you pause it and then restart it later. It allows you to either stream or download podcasts. I like to stream mine unless I know I'll be away from a wifi connection. It doesn't chew through my battery like other apps. No ads! The best and simplest tool for the job.
5 stars: AntennaPod has all the features I look for in a podcast app - variable speed, search tools, individual and global settings. The fact that it's a non-proprietary open source project makes me like it all the more and leads me to believe this app will be around for a while and will continually improve.
4 stars: One powerful podcatcher! Lots of great configuration options, some things I didn't even know I needed. However, it may be a somewhat unintuitive interface for non-technical users, and it may not support the workflow you're used to. Also a + it's FOSS
5 stars: This is a wonderful podcast app. The simple, clean interface is a pleasure to use and everything is logically laid out. Works reliably and does everything you need. Comparable in all respects to the major paid-for podcast apps but this is open-source and free. People should for sure install and support this!
