5 stars: Awesome editor! I am sold within 15 minutes. I wish I could spend time describing all the likes but I think you should do yourself a favor and give it a chance. I used DroidEdit and did not even bother to write a review, ads; that is the reason I am a convert. I started the day with ES Explorer but I did leave a review for that one, worse that just the ads. This motivated me to look for an alternative and found Solid Explorer. The combination of Solid Explorer and Quoda Code Editor turned out to be a fantastic marriage. Today is a good day!
5 stars: Excellent. Syntax highlighting works great. I love that autocompletion is behind a pay-wall, provides income for devs so this app is AD FREE. Additional row of keys is excellent and well implemented, fits nicely above hackers keyboard. Though left charcters of far left key still don't seem to do anything (dunno what they are anyway) but stop backspace key working till other keys are pressed. Maybe remove them and add arrow keys to move cursor (like what AnySoft keyboard has at the top).
5 stars: Actually supports lots of languages Most free code editors I tried couldn't even load a JavaScript or PHP file, and were practically restricted to Text/HTML/CSS. Not this one. This one instantly opened everything I threw at it. It has a small selection of themes to choose from, light and dark, and good syntax highlighting. Best Android code editor I've found so far.
