5 stars: Excellent app for learning Japanese. It makes memorizing the characters easy and fun. I was able to sound out the words after a short while and I now feel ready for my upcoming visit to Japan. Highly recommended!!
5 stars: I spent a week memorizing hiragana the hard way, then I got this app to learn katakana. IT TOOK ME ONE DAY! One day in comparison to a week and people say katakana is harder, this app is worth it!! Please make an app for Kanji aswell!!

And instead of learning a few characters and then taking a quiz to test your knowledge, you go through the entire alphabet of flashcards (in the same order every time) and take a quiz of random characters.
