4 stars: Really awesome alarm and company, but the app is misbehaving recently. It constantly signs me out of the app which makes the widget practically useless. It was very convenient having the widget on my phone to act as a remote, but I can hardly use it anymore since I have to constantly sign back in. I get signed out multiple times a day. This started recently after my phone updated to Android 11.
5 stars: The system is easy to install and customizable. You can easily add on when you decide to upgrade. I installed smoke detectors, water sensors and an extra camera a couple months after buying. The water sensors paid for themselves when my ac drip pan was clogged. Also when my garbage disposal started leaking. The water sensors are amazing 👏
5 stars: Love SimpliSafe and this app is part of the reason why. I can arm and disarm from anywhere with my phone. Also I have our doorbell only alert us through our phones when someone presses the button. This way it doesn't freak out our dogs. I also have a garage part of our system that when the alarm is off I set secret alerts to the main house doors and every window and door in the garage.
