3 stars: It's a really interesting app with some promise. I do like the idea of it, but it'd be nice to have some other options than instagram for pictures for those of us who don't use it and don't want to or who don't feel comfortable linking an account that may also be connected to their work or family. More filter options would be nice too. A few freezing issues with the app but overall not too bad.
4 stars: i love lex. I've been using it for a few weeks and im in love. my only reason for 4/5 is that everytime i try to write a header there is a bug where the title will repeat whatever ive typed plus the new letter. otherwise the app works decently and ive been chatting with a new friend! fun to see what people have to say, too. the anonymity is fantastic and i like that there are no pictures unless you link another profile.
5 stars: I have found my corner of the internet! Lex is a platform with content that is poetic, raw and honest. It has layers of nuance that feel curated. I connect to others with words first, which is so refreshing after image-focused dating apps. The app is simple to use and attractive to look at. This is an exciting space to get to know other queer and nonbinary folks. A++
4 stars: I like the app for what it offers. Too many folks seem to care about pictures these days and forget that people aren't all about their looks. Had some rude folks because I'm not trans or nonbinary but even as a pansexual man I got a lot of flak from certain us...
