5 stars: Simple file opener that works! Didn't open the winmail.dat direct from the Samsung email app (didn't see I had a valid app for .dat files) but opened all the files within the winmail.dat file stored in Downloads (pdf, images etc) using Android 8.
4 stars: Very disappointing. Email message somehow grabs an attachment and converts it to a win.dat file. So I dl'd this app/program, opened it and tried to open the attachment, Result: it can't open this type file. Useless.
5 stars: Works well. the initial Unknown message is just a permissions issue. once you give the permission it is perfect on Android.
5 stars: At last my mind is put at rest. Nothing in any of the files. I complained to the sender but still winmail.dat files are attached to messages sent. I can't read those messages though!
