3 stars: I really do not like the new Google Photos Logo. While I appreciate that the intent was to make it more minimalistic, the previous logo was the perfectly fine in that sense. All that the design change has achieved is making the app look less sophisticated and more juvenile. Bring back the origami logo! I have few qualms with the app itself, but the logo change sincerely irks me.
3 stars: Update: I really loath the new Save as Copy as the only option after editing photos. Just save the edited photo to my default location - don't make me hunt for it! After losing my old photo editor on my previous phone, I have finally come to appreciate Google Photos. I can crop, edit, and apply filters all in the same app. Very useful.
