5 stars: Love it! Really enjoy all all of the the custom features you can choose from! I have paid for the premium program, however recently have been getting pop-up ads, especially for games, which I do not play, and they interfere with being able to complete my messaging! Extremely annoying, enough that I am considering changing 2 another messaging service!!
4 stars: Great app. Love the delayed send option, the customization of the contacts and layout and the integration with other Android devices. Android auto would be the most logical next step. The free version still has plenty of features and the ads are not too bad. Wish I knew more about the privacy piece as what is done with all the data going through the app.

3 stars: Love the features/usability and look, but my ability to send MMS messages ceased (out of the blue) a few weeks ago. Gave up trying to troubleshoot (LG G8, Android version 9, on AT\u0026T). The stock message app and Google messages both work fine, but I miss the Textra features/customizations. I reenabled Textra one last time today before giving up. It worked for a little while and then the issue of hung MMS messages came back. Oh well.
4 stars: I just downloaded this app and so far I really like it. The only thing that I've seen in another app that it doesn't have is the ability to set backgrounds for conversations. It seems smoother and prettier overall than message+, which was my default app, but...
