3 stars: Decent enough app. You can see course pages and files/modules like you would on desktop. Notifications are unreliable, I only get some and this is not due to my settings or device, as I'm not the only one in any of my classes (or in these reviews) dealing with that. Calendar page almost always shows as empty. It comes in handy for quickly checking grades, or reading online notes, but some functions don't work as they should for students.
4 stars: Update 10/10/19: Push notifications on Android stopped working several weeks ago, after no issues for first 6 months. No settings were changed; I cleared cache, reinstalled, etc..my phone is not in any power or data saving modes...have had a few Androud updates in padt month...not sure if/why that would be an issue. Push notifications are the primary utility of this app!!
4 stars: Canvas has so far been easy to learn how to use and I haven't had any problems with canvas but classmates have been getting over 500 emails and notifications from canvas. So far the only solution is to turn off notifications for each of your classes, I have so far have not had this problem.
5 stars: Easy to navigate, user friendly. I love the way everything is laid out so that it's all pretty intuitive. I love all the detail that it is possible for instructors to share in the grading section. Links to outside learning apps are smooth. No complaints at all!
