3 stars: it wasn't what I expected it to be, i was expecting something that would actually tone down the blue light in the display, instead, it just puts different variants of yellow-orange-ish filter layers on the screen that don't work as good as the blue light filters that are built into certain phones, which work by actually toning down the blue colour in the display, instead of applying yellow filters. Was pretty disappointed...
5 stars: very handy! really like that it will filter everything until you turn off. I have noticed a big difference if I have to use my phone before bed. when I use the filter, I seem to be tired, and my brain can shut off. without it on, I find I cannot fall asleep very well if I'm on later in the evening. The app is very user friendly and you can choose how much you want to filter as well as the brightness/intensity. 👍
3 stars: I like all the different options and the explanation on different colour temperatures, and it's true that this is easier on the eyes, but the scheduling is a problem. Despite me setting this to switch on at 9pm, I still have to manually open the app and switch it on myself. If I leave my phone alone for awhile it switches itself off and the notification bar disappears.
