5 stars: If application not running in background so we will not get notifications. We have to keep it continuesly on in background and it will cause battery performance. So please resolve this issue on priority and allow notification while app closed like Facebook, WhatsApp etc...
3 stars: I am very disappointed that I am no longer able to set my notification message and call tones individually per person any longer. It was one of the things I really enjoyed about this app.
4 stars: Really great, no simcard needed and is available to use on a variety of devices... Only thing I wish would change in that you could add feeds/WhatsApp statuses to this stuff for mobile.
5 stars: The Hangouts app is good and is getting better. More features will always be an improvement, but just as it is now is great. Wish the gallery viewing of photos was nicer, on a phone with a notch it looks weird when you want to view without status bar.
3 stars: I use the app to text all my friends and I love it! I just don't like the new update where you can no longer customize notifications and ringtones for different people. I'd change the review to 5 stars if it's fixed. Thank you so much if you do fix it!
3 stars: Everyone has said the same disappointment I feel. Users, go in your phone settings to apps and notifications, find Handouts and you can at least see the time you want for the app, still not individually tho.
