5 stars: Merge Duplicate Contacts & Cleanup by Simpler apk download - I rarely rate apps. This one is 100%. Google will not attend to basic use cases due to awful management (no surprise). So, your contacts multiply and blow up - nice. This app corrects that reasonably and intelligently. Watch out for the "too many contacts deleted" error that might appear in your notifications. In most modern Android versions you can select this and chose "delete anyway" - multiple times after resyncing if necessary. Eventually, it will go away. Thanks to the developers for this excellent app.

2 stars: - It needs some login (ok....) but a least google simply does not work (oauth). Therefore unusable.
