5 stars: step by step, slowly and reviews material almost immediately makes retaining recently learned materials easier than other apps. I like how this all explains the structure of the language bit by bit as you pick up more words. Also learning this way (a word at a time to make sentences) versus memorising a bunch of colours or numbers right away... I'm impressed and pleasantly surprised.
5 stars: This app is a great way to learn signs and understand what someone is signing. It would be helpful to have some encouragement in forming your own sentences or answers, so the app pairs best with real-world signing, but even without that, I would still recommend Lingvano. The dialogue component, dictionary, and the vocabulary and fingerspelling trainers are especially useful.
4 stars: Had a problem with my login email, support team told me to try without the decimals and it worked. App laid out well but crashes/freezes sometimes and some pictures did not load. Wish there was a way to zoom into the hand sign of the animated pic, sometimes the angle is hard to make out the gesture. Overall good app! Better if a bit cheaper.
3 stars: Very easy to learn from, and I can see it becoming the go-to place to learn how to sign. However, it is clearly still relatively early on in development due to the vast number of bugs. I have completed all of the free lessons, and I had to restart every lesson at least once if not more, either because the app crashed or a video wouldn't load...
