5 stars: I'd wanted to try a Star Trek app but hadn't yet. I had an opportunity to try this one and it's pretty neat. It reminds me of the early SimCity games... you had to start from scratch to build a city and grow from there. This is pretty similar. I'd prefer if there were some 'non-linear' missions (other than battling other ships) instead of always having to go step-by-step. Anyway, pretty good game :)
3 stars: **Update** dropped rating because the developers are unable to play-test before implimenting changes; game breaks consistently. //// A fun and beautiful game. Great for long term goals and development. Heavy grinding is involved though. This is pay to win though. To be competitive, you have to spend money. A lot of money, in the realm of hundreds of dollars per month. If you want to be the best, you'll have to spend thousands.
2 stars: Very enjoyable and easy to play. However, I've been playing 4 months now and I lose internet connection 5 to 6 times over the course of playing time. I'll reboot tablet but keeps occurring. I can do anything online for hours and never lose connection but play STSF for 30 min at it begins. I love this game but getting close to quitting if something isn't done to fix this. It isn't on my end as this occurs with nothing else I do or play.
