5 stars: Petal maps has improved a lot since I started using it few months back, but during navigation, I found the route given to me need corrections. 1. Entering a no entry road. 2. Asked to turn right instead of left. Because turning left is the shorter route. 3. Turning into a side road from a main road very near to a junction is very dangerous. Must rectify this. Is there a better way to notify Petal Maps for these problems.
4 stars: I'm in Arizona USA and there are no downloadable maps for offline use. Street abbreviations could be better. Rd=road but the voice says Rd. Dr=Drive but the voice will say driveway. You get the point. Overall Petal Maps is growing on me and I've been using it more than Google maps.
4 stars: Since Google Maps never seems to work, this is the best alternative I could find. I can actually hear the navigation as well although it doesnt seem to understand the languages it offers very well.
3 stars: Switched to Petal from Google Maps after Google borked their navigation, and was surprised at how fully featured this navigation system is. Only downsides are the UK voices, all sound incredibly poor quality, to the point I can barely understand them (lots of hissing noises). And prompts are too late, for example, it will say
