3 stars: Although the app provides lots of useful info from my edge 1030, it does not do well in updating the edge device. Garmin claims that all edge software can be updated through the connect app. This does not appear to be true. The app updates the edge software, but does not update the mapping software. Connect claims that all edge software is up to date, but I would argue that it is not, since the maps are not updated.
4 stars: Love the app for the most part. One oversight that I have come across: there is no option to edit the labels on alarms (even through the app) to create a custom label, that I know of. It would be so handy to be able to specifically label my alarms across the week for all the specific activities I have, so they dont all pop up as \
3 stars: Great app, which is even better than the web for looking at running stats. My only complaint is that on my phone it is almost impossible to edit my gear, when I hit the edit link it goes to the top of the page. I had this problem with my last phone too, but never on a tablet.
3 stars: This app went from 5 to 3 stars since I've used it last in 2017. Vivo HR+ will not aquire GPS. Also cannot find the option to edit which apps are allowed to send notifications. This was a feature when I last used it. I have 100+ notifications coming through and it gets annoying seeing all of them go through to the watch. Other then that this app does the job with any other setting pretty well and clearly.
