3 stars: this is a great Dreamcast emulator, the graphics and sound are amazing.. too bad the touchpad control is awful! please revamp the touchpad controls so we can push 2 or more buttons at the same time like in MAME4DROID or PPSSPP.. I really love playing Dreamcast fighting games, so it needs the simultaneous buttons pushing.. I would surely give 5 stars if you fix the controls 🙏
3 stars: After the latest update, redream finally can read games via the sd card. This is excellent news! Thank you for the devs team of taking care of this annoying matter! Update: although it can read the sd card now, I noticed that it will crash everytime I choose a folder where all the game are stored.
4 stars: The Redream team has been able to address most of any issues/concerns I've had so far. The only thing is I was 100% able to play 7zip files before. After doing some research, it looks like my original frontend combined with Redream was what made that possible. Would love to see Redream run 7zip files on its own. Otherwise, this is a great emulator overall.
4 stars: Works great on LG G8X with Snapdragon 855 and 6 GB RAM. Using paid version of Redream. I tried Looney Tunes Space Race and it ran at 60 FPS at 3x resolution (haven't tried higher). However, the in-race music is too low, even after latest update. Also, constant stuttering/freezing in Crazy Taxi. On the plus side, the app automatically recognized my Razer Kishi and allowed me to edit the button configuration.
