3 stars: Unreliable. Earlier versions had no issues on my Pixel 2, but for the past few months I hold the phone to the card reader and often nothing happens. I have to reboot the phone and then it works. Not exactly convenient when I'm in a store checkout with people waiting behind me and I'm just standing there waiting for the phone to reboot.
4 stars: You should think of including a fingerprint auth just before payment. Currently the phone allows payment if the screen is unlocked. Which is kind of a security risk. I did experience once that my contactless did not work from the phone but the next day it started working. The time it did not work,i was ablw to use my card as tap and go.
3 stars: The app had been working fine for months \u0026 months. Then suddenly, it kept on telling me the transactions had been declined. So I had use my bank card itself for a day. Next day it was fine again. I didn't update the app \u0026 didn't do anything different in how I used it.

5 stars: As of right now I'm still using the old Google pay app. I will not update until the bugs are worked out. I've seen too many complaints that the new app doesn't work. So as for now I'm very satisfied
3 stars: Edit: it didn't auto update like it's supposed to. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Only 3 stars because of this, but I'm able to use myki now. Can't add a public transport card though it says I can...
