3 stars: I use this app to set up stereo. That's why I got 2 JBL Flip 5 speakers. The stereo setting cuts the audio out a lot. It comes back on its own but is annoying. I don't use Party Mode so I don't know if that cuts out too or if it only has trouble with stereo signals. Based on how cheap the speakers are I won't give it a 1 or 2 star. You get what you pay for. The speakers sound great for their size but this is a review of the app.
3 stars: Overall, pretty good with a few glitches. I have about 8 compatible speakers, so the party feature is a real party for me. The party feature goes out occasionally and sometimes the app can't find the speakers, even though they're connected to Bluetooth. It also let's you add firmware. JBL switched to a new firmware that's not available on older units, not cool. That will make me wary on future JBL products.
