5 stars: Not long ago I left a complaint / recommendation on a change that was made that I thought was counterproductive and made the user experience more difficult. This is probably one of the only Google products I actually like. The thing that I thought really needed changed, they changed it. Much better now. Now just if the rest of the big tech companies could get on board and care about what their users think again....
3 stars: The app generally works pretty good, not sure it gives you the quickest route on some trips. ie ..Was told to head straight at a roundabout then made me turn left and left and the right only to have done a loop to end back on the same road we could have just turned left at the roundabout on and saved time. This has happened a few times and is a little annoying so if you can look ahead on journeys this may help the runaround
3 stars: After the 6th Jan 2021 update, the message at the bottom left (This is the fastest route) won't go away by itself. I have to keep clicking \
3 stars: Mostly very good, but sometimes it suggests SUCH a horrible routes! A few days ago, this app almost caused serious damage to my brand new car - in the middle of the night it took me to a “road” where even heavy tractors would have a big problem driving. After that I ALWAYS check the route using the Maps.me app to make sure the road is OK.
