3 stars: The latest edition of the app is a major step backwards. Any time I take out my phone to check my distance and pace, despite touching no buttons other than the button to turn the screen on and off, it pauses tracking and i lose the rest of my workout. I've used the app for 5 years and would have rated it 5 stars as recently as 3 months ago, but now I'm switching to Map My Run because I can't keep losing half my workouts.
4 stars: If I turn on my screen during my run, it stops tracking distance, but still keeps time. I don't believe I'm pausing anything when I'm checking it but this happens every time I interact with my phone at all during the run. Otherwise, great app and the free features are great, the Boston Fan is my favorite!
5 stars: Update October 2020. Great app. I use for walking and cycling. I've been using it for 3 years now. I had a problem where app kept pausing for no reason and stopped tracking workout. Issue was fixed after android update yesterday. App is working perfectly now. I highly recommend this app.
3 stars: I really want to love this app, it does everything I needed, but let me down badly when I needed it most - London Marathon. Subscribed to Pro to allow friends \u0026 family to follow progress, worked fine the day before but not yesterday. Text links sent ok, but links showed run hadn't started. So had to rely on texts \u0026 calls throughout to keep people updated. A small but crucial fail.
