3 stars: The game itself is fun, more fun than I remember on Atari back in the day. But the ads are relentless. The free version is way more ad time than game time. And even after you pay $3, they constantly try to trick you into clicking ads. I wasn't sure about the swipe controls at first, but they do work quite well. But I do still wish for a joystick. I want to try with a gamepad and see if that works.
5 stars: I love Q*Bert! This is why you get 5 stars. I think the game is a little clunky. It keeps asking if I want an upgrade Bert, it wants me to watch a video to get him, the issue is it doesn't work, I click the button but nothing. So again right now it's a tad clunky. Also its 2020 maybe Q*Bert should be a bit more modern than it was. But I still love the game!
5 stars: My review of the game may be too early as I just started playing, but my overall experience, so far is a positive one. I like how I was able to unlock all of the rare costumes by just dedicating myself to watching ads, though all of them were the same ad, no diversity in ad selection. This game plays well on my phone, so five stars, unless otherwise. Thank you to all who put effort into this app and games creation.
