5 stars: So much better than Plex! It's stable, has great user support, and easy to customize for whatever your needs are. We've been using this across devices in our house for over 4 years, recently tried Plex again for a few days and while playback was great, we prefer the layout and overall experience of emby. Especially when we want to make a collection/group of movies, it's so easy in emby. Overall you just get more than what Plex offers. BTW: emby had DVR support way before Plex, just saying.
3 stars: I have been using Emby (MB) for years. This app works well, yes there are a couple of bugs which Emby will surely address at some point. It plays my videos, I can access admin on my server. What's not to love!
4 stars: The app isn't bad but feels like a wrap of the Web interface. I haven't looked at the code but seems like it just tries to load that interface which makes it a bit slow and not great app design. It would be much better if it worked like the Kodi add on. Kodi is very fast as everything is cached in local database and only new stuff is synced.
5 stars: Light and responsive. Better than Plex. This is a good Plex alternative. Not as polished but works better and quicker and you never get the "unable to render" message that plagues Plex currently.
5 stars: On occasion the buttons/links in the admin panel flow into each other. Otherwise it works well, is easy to use and even supports multiple servers.
