5 stars: REDnote is a great TikTok alternative if it ends up getting banned in Canada. It's like if TikTok and Pinterest had a baby. I truly love this app! Down side is most of it is in Chinese language, I wish there was ability to translate to English like if I wanted to go live on the app, I have to read Chinese texts other than that, overall great app!
5 stars: Downloaded REDnote after hearing about it on TikTok, and because TikTok is being banned in the USA, I wanted a new way to connect with the world around me. My experience on REDnote so far has been brief, but extremely enjoyable. The algorithm works great, people are friendly, I'm seeing great content, the app is easy to navigate, and I really like all the different features it offers.
4 stars: I love this app! It helps me with art, funny videos, inspiration to MAKE art, and probably more. I've switched here due to thr upcoming tiktok ban, and it's a great alternative. The only problem is that there's no translate option! It would be really nice if you could translate comments, or switch your language to an English option.
2 stars: How can I agree when all terms and conditions are in Chinese. There is a tick on English, but you can not save it. It does not send verification code to your phone number and instead goes to some pictures to be verified. Impossible as every instruction and choice is written in chinese. Without the code and verification, one can't even comment. Or ask for help. It needs English ...
