3 stars: Recently, the app has started to replay the same 10-20 seconds of an episode that i downloaded for offline but keeps trying to force me to use my data or have a wifi connection. Also downloading episodes have become a pain as it stalls out of you try to download more than 2. Used to be able to do 50 at once. It keeps saying I'm not a member as well for brief periods of time as well.
2 stars: Downloading shows to watch later does not seem to work all that well. It's hot or miss if I can get shows to download. They will also make downloaded shows unplayable, but still use up the storage on your phone and have to delete them yourself or redownload. They do not warm you about that which can get annoying when you're watching them offline and find out they become unusable while your offline.
2 stars: Loved Crunchy roll while paying for premium, but it's gotten too expensive to pay for all the different streaming services so I went to ad versions of everything and crunchyroll is by far the worst offender for ridiculous amounts of ads. 8 ads in a row sometimes and I'm averaging 4min of watch time in between 2 min of ads. It's barely watchable at this point. Needs major reforms.
