5 stars: Probably the best AR game there is. Fun and very cute. Lacking some UX, like the tutorial (i thought you had to tap on the sandwitch and then swipe instead of starting as swiping), and not really knowing how to interact with plants at the start (draw a circle on it). Also would be great to see more 3D in AR like some footsteps or something to increase depth (if there are more 3D objects it's easier to be immersed) ~Dev Dunk
5 stars: Super cute! I have been waiting to play Peridot since it was first announced, and I am not disappointed. This game feels like a cross between Chao Garden from the Sonic series and Neopets. I have been playing virtual pet games since Neopets, and this game gives me a similar kind of nostalgic feeling.
4 stars: The game is good, gives me tamogatchi vibes as well. One concern though is how they have handled other games. Pokemon go and Pikmin Bloom have been due to company choices. Their Hogwarts game was also shut down. This is a cute game and I would reccomend it, just be aware that they ultimately want to make money off of this. Which makes sense, but it's a balancing act keeping your players happy.
3 stars: It's very cute and interactive, but because you can only play in AR, it completely drains your battery. I'd suggest maybe have on non-AR background option to help with the massive battery consumtipn. On my phone, a charge will last me well over a day, but my phone was completely dead within 5 hours of downloading the game <...
