5 stars: Very beginner and user friendly. Ads are put in smart places that aren't annoying (such as when undoing a move.) The english could use a little work but other than that, superb shogi app.
5 stars: Love this game. App runs smoothly. Loads of difficulty and handicap options. The English translations are not particularly great, but if you know the basics already, it's no problem at all.
4 stars: This is my first shogi app so I'm not sure how it compares to others out there but overall I think it's a good. I wish there was a strategy guide and there was a small issue getting back to the homescreen after a game where I had to close and restart. The English is choppy but it's good enough to start playing and the beginner guide has helpful visuals. The avatar function is a nice touch
3 stars: It's an alright app. The translations for the tutorial stuff and the menus could use some work as the English is quite broken. Multiplayer is alright, but I keep getting matched up with people way better even though they supposedly have
3 stars: Its okay. Lots of grammar mistakes, but the main problem is that you need to watch videos to takeback moves in practice against a bot. This is ludicrous, practice is for learning.
