5 stars: This is an excellent release. The story is engaging and has many ways to play. You aren't forced to be good or railroaded into a specific build. The choices are mostly meaningful and affect relationships throughout the story. If I had one complaint, it would be that the ending is too easy since the final skill check, despite being high, doesn't seem to matter aside from a bit of different phrasing rather than changing the outcome.
5 stars: My favorite COG title possibly ever, it feels like stuffing a classic Role-playing experience into novel format in every best way, even includes an option whether to present additional information, letting you experience as an immersive book, or true role-playing game, all while containing a unique adventure. Would highly recommend to more COG authors in future projects.
4 stars: Being on the Queen's side was like being Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars.
3 stars: I had a lot of fun though I had a few gripes. The characters are lovable and distinct and there's definitely different endings. However, after a few playthrough I noticed how little some of my choices mattered. It railroads you a bit through part of the story and some of the relationships between characters feel like they should have been fleshed out a bit more before romancing. Still, fun game and worth it's price on sale!
