4 stars: I have a few complaints. First, the AI can make weird moves, like allowing a mass extincton of its species because it made too many to feed. Second, the app freezes a lot. I always found it slow when loading and when I close the game, but it never bothered me. Now it gets so slow that I have to close it frequently. It would be nice to have these things fixed. Otherwise, thank you NorthStar Games for a fun and scientific game.
4 stars: Have the board game and absolutely I love it. It would be nice if the virtual version had up to 4 players. Also the AI leaves a bit to be desired, I find it makes extremely questionable decisions even on hard like letting all its species die then over populating it's hand with deep cards and then has trouble building new species with this hand. Other than these minor problems a big 👍 that I can play this excellent game on my phone.
3 stars: Really fun, but buggy. I'm enjoying it, but often valid cards can't be used at all, not even on new species, which is frustrating. And sometimes when drawing 3 deep cards they draw as empty outlines so you don't know what you're getting. But otherwise a great game.
2 stars: It might be a fun game it is wasn't so confusing. I spent most of the tutorial not understanding what was happening. Even after the tutorial I played a game against the easiest AI, and I still didn't understand much of what was happening. This needs to have several small tutorials to introduce the gamer to each concep...
