3 stars: Yeah I don't like tutorial walls of text either BUT this game is too confusing, I have no idea what's going on. That being said, my suggestion: add one button to the game at a time, not all at once. Create a
2 stars: Got far enough to see that in order to research, you need red flasks which are produced by the alchemist, and to get the alchemist you have to research it with red flasks that you can't yet produce. As others have noted, the UI is terrible and the in-game wiki does not explain gameplay or a tech tree, so it's not clear how to strategize. I love resource mgmt games and really wanted to like this one, but it's just not playable.
2 stars: The game is simple and wonderful. Unfortunately you loose all your progress when moving to a new island. Switching between multiple islands would be great. Recently the game stutters and ends itself abruptly. And I loose the progress of the last minutes. The last point makes my review drop from 4 to 2 points.
