3 stars: Notifications were disabled by my power save feature. I have since modified that feature and everything appears to be working properly. Now I have to uninstall and reinstall the app 1-2 times per month because my emails are not able to open fully to read the email only the summary...always something.
4 stars: Fairly useful app. Brings email onto my phone successfully. My only couple of gripes? The app opens by default onto American news, much of which is uninteresting for the UK and is also annoying when I'm trying to find an important email. When the search box is opened the keyboard no longer opens straight up. You have to tap the box again to get it - such a waste of another second or three. Not much at a time, but it adds up so much...
5 stars: I've been using AOL for email for over 30 years it works. I use it over a variety of platforms, Windows PCs and Android tablets and phones it works. It's the only mail system I have found that has a sensible file attachment size, others are unusable if you want to send high quality images.
5 stars: I've had my AOL now for almost 30 years. Definitely get some chuckles when I give people my email address. It's the only one I use for serious business. LOL I'm going to app really is better than any of the third party email apps except for maybe Outlook, but Outlook makes simple email like AOL more difficult than it needs to be.
