5 stars: I have tried three journal apps now, and am very happy to have found Day One for my Mac. It gives me everything I have ever needed/wanted in a journal. The Android app syncs very easily with my Mac. Editing in the Android app would be good, but this is in no way a deal breaker. I don't always agree with subscriptions, but I didn't hesitate to buy this premium subscription. Easy to use, many great features. Thank you!
3 stars: This is an amazing app, easy to use, I like adding pictures, I like the reminders. However, these are reasons I'm not giving it a higher rating.... You can't print your journal from an Android. That was what I wanted to do all along. I kept a journal for my daughter and through high school and wanted to give it to her as a grad gift, then found out my version doesn't have that capability.
4 stars: Overall a great app, there could be some minor tweaks like being able to make characters bold or italic, and adding more or unlimited pictures with the free plan, but beyond that it's a good journaling app and the option to add tags is practical. Maybe there could be a way to share entries with other Day One Journal users, or to share entries on social media. Otherwise, I would recommend this app to anyone who likes journaling.
