4 stars: This app works great on mobile phones. There is a demand for devices, specially for restaurants where it would be great to have a stand alone device Request: can an update be released for use of front camera OR a QR code scanner module?.
5 stars: Works fine with UK NHS vacc. If it doesn't it's likely that the the device used to scan the QR code didn't have the updated version of the app. Ask the checker to connect to the internet and update it. Please note: the final update which allows this was rolled out on 9 August but the actual update to the app happened on 11 August. Now, it should work.
4 stars: With a few teething problems at the beginning the app works well now even with the NHS covid certifcate . Make sure they scan the second vaccine otherwise it doesn't work on the first vaccine QR code.
5 stars: For QR codes which are in soft copy, the app scans them almost instantaneously. However, it takes time to scan QR codes which are printed on a paper. As most senior citizens use the printed QR code, it makes things difficult especially if there is a long queue. All in all, it's excellent.
