5 stars: I like the new concept of the beta design. I like how colorful and well laid out each pages is. I think this design is more user-friendly and people will be able to browse the app without problems, the items are right at your fingertips and search shouldn't be a problem for older viewers. I'm 63 and I like the new app
4 stars: Would give 5 stars, but they removed the UPC scanner. I like doing price checks at the store, or add items to my shopping list like the old grocery app and current app. They finally unified their apps into one. I liked the old Wal Mart app and the grocery app, then they merged them and it sucked, but now with the new app it's unified better, looks good, my only grip is now way to scan bar codes.
3 stars: Still a work in progress... Some items that the original app lists as available do not show up on the beta at all (ex chocolate yoplait whips). Searches of the exact same word yield different results between apps. When searching, you have to tap the search bar twice to access the phone keyboard (old app is once). I wish the option for shipping still showed up for items that are available to either ship or pickup, but currently it doesn't.
3 stars: Navigating and finding what you want is a breeze. Check out is lacking. Any gift cards on your account can NOT be used for payment and EBT payment method is missing. I gave it 3 stars for how easy it is to use. Add the above missing payment methods and I'll give 5 stars.
