3 stars: I had no problems D/L'ing the app \u0026 scanning for my vaccination pass. However, I find this app of dubious usefulness as you need to scan for a new pass every 30 days when vaccinated. Why? Why isn't your pass good for at least 6 months when vaccinated? I understand the short time frames for the COVID-19 tests. I don't think this app will have a long shelf life unless NYS lengthens the pass' validity time. IMHO.
3 stars: Obtained Pass through website on computer, printed out pass in highest resolution. The app is unable to scan the QR code, regardless of whether I scan it directly from the printed copy, from a photo of the pass, or from the screen. So, useless app from this standpoint.
5 stars: Works as expected. You just fill out some information and get a pass. People who are blaming the app for not being able to find their vaccine info should really blame the people who failed to input the information in the system.
4 stars: The app works perfectly, as long as: 1. You know the county of the hospital system's headquarters is (I got vaccinated in Yonkers, but the hospital system is primarily in The Bronx). 2. The organization who vaccinated you has sent that information to the state (this is going to be VERY hit and miss). Valiant effort, but depends on an overburdened, digitally divided healthcare system.
5 stars: Worked for my wife and me! Was able to load our vaccine record. Don't understand why it expires in a month but hopefully renewing that...
