5 stars: This app is awesome. It may be the only truly good thing I have ever used a smart phone for!!! It's so simple to use. Broken into steps that are a perfect length to hold your interest, and just the right amount of info that it is easy to retain. They provide ways to practice and loads of encouragement.....the fact that it is free makes it even better. I actually wouldn't mind paying for an app this good
4 stars: I hope therapists don't go out of business because of this app. It gives good information in short, concise vignettes. It is definitely helping me recognize problem areas in relationships, but more than that it gives good tips for positive things you can do to try to turn things a different direction. The only drawback I found, is that sometimes the narrator is a bit patronizing in her tone... \
5 stars: I'm really loving this app. I've enjoyed Gottman's principles for couples, and the advice for parenting echoes a lot of what I'm reading in The Whole Brain Child. I'm finding the bite-sized lessons really useful and manageable (we have a blended family with five kids under 10!), and the little exercises and examples really meaningful and helpful to really understand points, even in reference to myself!!
