5 stars: I have had this for more than a year now and it works beautifully. (It alerted me to my garage door being open late at night, which is a great safety factor). II have not had to pay any extra fees to use it, and so far, no glitches. I don't know if I am just lucky or if other users have gotten some interference from wifi providers or others that resulted in the more negative reviews.
4 stars: Doesn't open - persistent server errors. Using other customer reviews as a guide, I reset the password and then it worked. I suspect the issue is/was that I had a complex password with numerous symbols. Lots of websites and apps just don't play well with symbols in passwords, and fail in mysterious ways. 4 stars: Hard to setup initially and had to call tech support. Because I have an existing myQ garage door opener, the app instructions were different. Also, it goes offline sometimes and I have to reset hub by unplugging, or the close door has to be done twice. I bought two wifi extenders so it can reach my detached garage. Overall though, I'm happy with it as it gives me secure piece of mind as I had burglary beforehand.
