4 stars: I love NPR. I listen to NPR every day. But this app needs help. Two things. One, make it so the app can continue to play audio in the background while you are using other apps and while the screen is turned off. Like Spotify. And two, have a back button to view the previous podcast/episode you listened to. Fix these issues, and I swear to God I will listen to NPR every moment of the day.
5 stars: Fantastic app, as is the separate NPR News app. One suggestion to make One even better: Add a list of NPR stations along with the search window for the Change Station function. Absent this, I'm forced to remember the last exact four call letters of member stations. My dumb brain can only hold about ten of those. Thanks in advance!
5 stars: Awesome. I listen while in the car for long periods. The stories are incredible. I laugh, I cry, I yell at the radio. Its thought provoking, thoughtful in reporting, extremely informative. I soooo love you NPR!!!
3 stars: This app used to be awesome! But now shows are constantly repeated .. one show has repeated at least 10 times..I've actually memorized some of the opening lines for some of the shows.. tonight around ten shows repeated themselves in less than 2 hours.. good luck getting donations with that
3 stars: Works half of the time. Only lets you download a small amount of stories/podcasts. Menus and stories, including the hourly national news update fail to load frequently. Hard to find what you really want to liste...
