5 stars: Having read the previous review, I just want to say that I like my Akita very much! I'm not entirely sure what it does but it's probably better that way. I feel better knowing it's there and that you guys are on my side. Shalom, my friends, and stay healthy. PS: I'm looking forward to the update that expands it's capabilities to include my hardwired devices.
4 stars: Seems to work over all, however, entire experience seems a bit clunky and unwieldy. Had a problem and paid 24.99 for them to fix. They wanted complete access to my wi-fi network, user name password and mac address. Was unwilling to do that so 25 dollars down drain. During kickstarter campaign they assured everyone they could cut off a device automatically with no intrusion...apparently not.
4 stars: I keep getting notifications, but when I check my router logs not finding any associated MAC addresses. Assuming it's devices the try to connect to my captive guest portal but never authenticate
3 stars: Keeps crashing on me. Gives you list of devices connected and when risks come out you gotta pay in order to fix it yourself or have someone fix it for you... The 1 risk I got was from the Akita device itself 😣
5 stars: Great tool to know who is connected to your router. Huge fan! Easy to operate with and without subscription services.
4 stars: It seems to work pretty well, but the error messages aren't clear, and it seems like the only way to get clarification is to pay for support.
