3 stars: The app is fine. It does what it is advertised to do, and not really anything else. The only cross-connected service is Google Fit, and there isn't a direct way to export fitness data. Also there is no option to auto-start with the phone, so you have to make sure to always open the app when your phone restarts in order to sync or get notifications. Options to customize the Fossil watch screen are nice.
3 stars: I like the app, though I would like more options. 1. Heart rate monitoring. I think it would be nice to be able to configure how often my heart rate is being recorded or how often it takes a measurement. 2. Lock feature. I think a combo of buttons should be able to be pressed in sequence to lock the buttons on the watch.
4 stars: This is more of a criticism of the watch itself rather than this app, but it's fairly bad at getting correct heart rate and active movies in exercise mode. Not to mention, there isn't a biking mode. I have been biking and it doesn't increase the number of times it counts heartbeat or count steps and active minutes.
4 stars: This app is a must for the functionality of the Fossil Hybrid watch of course. Without the app, the Fossil Hybrid is just like an ordinary watch. The app functions alright, but it does not always connect to the watch automatically, even if bluetooth is constantly on. So you have to check before wearing the watch. But overall, it is a nice and functional app!
