3 stars: Great idea! I've been wondering for years why I can't use my headphones as hearing aids. Unfortunately, the execution isn't as great - I played with all the settings and I can't get it to separate white noise from the tv audio. I also can't select which mic to use, aside from my phone having 3+ built in, I would have liked to use my earbuds as the audio source.
5 stars: The app made my bottom firing speaker (pixel 3a) crackle. Uninstalled and the problem went away instantly. I like the functionality but the issue with my speaker is a huge deal breaker for me. Edit: It seems that my speaker issue goes beyond just this app. The problem is most likely with the system software or hardware.
5 stars: I'm attempting to use this to help subdue the symptoms of my schizophrenia that are kicking in overdrive today. Because the hallucinations I'm getting mostly is imminent sounds I'm not sure if I heard, or if I heard it correctly. I mean, so far it's actually taking my focus off the audibles I was having since last night.
3 stars: Hi I encountered an error that couldn't fix it. It says mic is not available to use the microphone for sound amplifier, close the app that's using it. How can fix this error?
5 stars: Now that there's a version that works with Bluetooth headsets, I can use my headset to allow me to hear people around me, and reduce the risk of infection by touching my face trying to adjust my Google buds or take one out.
