5 stars: Holy S***. This is an incredible app. The transcription feature is incredible as well, the UI is beautiful, it is exactly what you would expect from a program that Google makes. I used a different recorder app for probably 3 years at least and I immediately deleted it when I found I had this already. This works great on the Pixel 4!
5 stars: What can I say, record and transcribe simultaneously? Seems ahead of everybody else so far. One problem, cannot rename a file after I have saved it. Also, cannot save the file locally, but can always save it on my Google drive and then transfer it from there or rename it from there. Good job guys.
5 stars: Can you guys add these features: 1. allow for the recording playback to be modified/sped up (x1.5, x2, x3). AND 2. Allow for an automatic web-browser app. An app/website that would work similar to the phone app. That would allow the user to listen to the recording with the transcription as recorded on any device. These would be much appreciated - thank you.
5 stars: I feel really positive about this app. Would be nice if it could auto backup to Google drive (and avoid duplicates). I'm sure the text to speech will get better as we train their ai 😉, currently I think it struggles with the variable cadence, and names (I usually talk in bursts, especially off the cuff, so for my purposes of a diary of sorts the transcript would be difficult to understand without any audio)
