5 stars: Now that RCS is managed by Google and not the carriers I don't have to wait for them to implement it here in the UK. To those complaining about permissions. It is my understanding that Google's carrier services now contains the RCS chat messaging features. This means it may need to use storage (to send a photo), microphone (to send an audio message) using Google Messages Chat. I think some people are far too paranoid.
4 stars: Hopefully this update will fix the issue that I encounter daily and according to customer service from Fi, the only fix is to use dialer codes to repair the network (every single day). The issue is that MMS gets stuck in sending, after a few minutes it fails, them I click to resend (as prompted) the MMS gets through, but then the recipient receives the same MMS twice.
