5 stars: Incredibly helpful app for those who are looking for easy japanese reading.
3 stars: Really nice app, but full volume video ads on app start is a big no-no for me. I use it for practicing reading news, but one in 5 times it makes me jump out of my seat. Especially when it is not an appropriate place for annoying ads to start playing (like in quiet public places). Concider no sound apps for startup.
4 stars: I really enjoy this app. If you are currently working on learning more kanji and/or your Japanese listening skills, this is a useful app to have. You can read or listen to just keep yourself practicing those skills. For some words, it will provide a definition option in Japanese. These are written in a really accessible way. My one issue with the app is the translator attached to it. I find it to be a bit cumbersome.
5 stars: News is divided into 2 sections: easy and normal speed which is really helpful for beginners like me to catch up with the pace. Transcripts are also available with furigana for kanji, making it easier for reading and looking up new words. Thank you for your hard work by keeping news up-to-date.
3 stars: The lessons from storyline are helpful. However, there are some huge potentials from other features that need to be developed. For example, providing text and translation for podcast. As for now it remains not very useful.
