5 stars: A pretty nice mixed-genre game. If you stick to single player story mode and have patience, there's no need to spend any money on in-app purchases. If you want to climb the leader boards, it's pay-to-win. However, it's your choice and that decision is not forced on you. I downloaded this game to earn currency on another app, but I think I will continue playing.
3 stars: Edit: lower from 5 stars to 3 because, as many have pointed out, ascension items, which enable the full upgrades of your unitsfor, are insanely hard to come by and it gets pretty frustrating to have your roster sit on their same level for months because of the lack of these. To top it off, the only reliable way to get these said items is to complete missions / challenges that, you guessed it, need fully leveled heroes.
3 stars: Really good game, but chances of getting a new, new hero, or a five star hero are slight. The company states its because they want the game to last. Big problem with that is that the newer heroes are stronger and faster. You can even spend a ton of money, and the possibility of getting one of the newer hero's are slim to none.
4 stars: The game is ok.... sometimes it seems to give me horrible fighters. I feel ripped off most of the times. Wars can be VERY tough. Also, titan's can be very hard to beat. And raids can be just frustrating. Other than those things, I enjoy the game some what ..... even though its pay to win, I dont seem to be winning on my own. You eithe...
