4 stars: This is a story about a magician in a small village full of people. Bulllies, friends, family and lovers. The writer did well with character dialogue and selling the small village. The plot was slow and made you feel like you really were a bored villager working three jobs. Lot of romance interests too. The ending of the story felt rushed.
5 stars: great story, solid characters. felt a little short but that might be due to it being such a good read that I just want more. also, when is the sequel coming out?? I can't find anything online which is never a good sign.
3 stars: Multiple descriptions are reused and it can get a little repetitive. The story itself seems interesting but lacks character consistency and development. Most of the dialogue also sounds unnatural. The romantic options are not bad, but the development of their interests is awkward at best. Other than that, it was an enjoyable read and has a lot of potential, but not really worth the price I paid.
4 stars: I think that talking about Killian's father should have been tied to your intelligence, not your, what was it, charisma? It was something you deduce so I think it should have been intelligence, that's my only complaint.
5 stars: It was a amazing story love how you interact with everyone and what you choose has effects. And I hope there's a second book please.
