4 stars: love being able to organize recipes and shopping k list in the same place. Minus 1 star because I wish the list generator was a little more intuitive - it's supposed to combine things that are the same from different recipes, but it doesn't work unless they are identical, down to capitalization (so chicken breasts and Chicken breasts end up being two different items.) not a huge issue for how helpful this app has been, but a bit annoying.

I've been using Plan to Eat sporadically for 3 years and the one thing that kept it from being the perfect meal planning site was the lack of a phone app. With the app, I'm using PtE all the time now. It is very user friendly and makes double checking your meal plan and recipes while you're grocery shopping a breeze.
4 stars: love it! the receipt import is so great! i only wish the imported ingredients would be shifted to a standard format on import. like it would recognize a cup symbol and set it to a predetermined standard format. or the ingrediant onions would be changed to onion. this way you would have less duplicates in the grocery list.
