5 stars: the test drive was a bit annoying but we recieved an amazingly lower quote out of it, so it is definitely worth the wait while doing the test drive! we went from $120 a month with Geico to $56.50 a month with root! that is for 2 drivers and 2 vehicles, liability only. that is a major change for sure!! saves us over $700 a year!
5 stars: Great app and great service. im saving over 120 bucks a month on my auto insurance just by not driving like an idiot. The app runs in the background on your phone but doesnt use much battery at all. So far so good.
3 stars: No way to tell the app you aren't the one driving. It assumes that every time I'm moving, I'm driving. There was one time when it did ask, but it never asked again. Particularly last night, I was riding with my cousin to go to dinner, and he drives like a bat out of hell. This app is extremely easy to understand and it keeps all of my policy information at my fingertips. if you want a fair premium based on you and not a statistical category, give root a try. I think you will be very pleased.
5 stars: Unbelievably painless setup process with great rates. Clearly using a more sophisticated AI to determine driving habits than most other apps (Drivesense, etc)... Hopef...
