4 stars: This is a great app for intermediate level learners. I am learning japanese and one part i am struggling in particular is listening. This app is excellent for that. However, reading Kanji is very difficult. Please include romanizations of the text! It can just be done quickly via Google translate. Please conside this and add.
3 stars: Cool Idea, but it's only for people who have some sort of proficiency; it's not for beginners. Also the language selection didn't include Welsh or Dutch, the two languages I'm somewhat proficient with, but where I have a lot of room for improvement; especially for my Welsh, hahh! Also, I don't think it's entirely free.

5 stars: Had I known this app existed I'd be fluent by now! I have done this sort of thing by finding books and audiobooks at my library that were translated, but the selection is limited and the process not nearly as streamlined. The creator of this app is a genius! This is as full immersion as you can get without leaving the home!
5 stars: I was not sure if I would be able to follow on the split screen view, but there is an option to slow the audio down. As you use it more, it gets more comfortable and I was able to go back up to full speed.
