5 stars: As a volunteer I love this app. I have some disabilities that are not sight related so know what's it's like to be limited sometimes. Being unable to work this app helps me 'give back' a little. It's nice to be the one helping someone else for a change and I don't even need to be able to get out of bed. It means no matter how unwell I feel I can do something good :) So far the app has run smoothly - it's functional.
5 stars: There's nearly 2million volunteers per the 100K users that rely on this app, which means you don't get called frequently, but it's exciting when you do! Someone else beat me to one call, and the other time, I was privileged to help a gentleman verify the contents of an important document. It was a fun and relaxed experience, and an amazing personal use of technology. We hope we get to help again soon!
5 stars: I've had this app for many months and just got my first phone call today. I helped a lady identify dollar denominations. It feels good to be able to assist people. It's too bad I don't get the opportunity to assist more often, but looking at the number of volunteers compared to the number of blind users it makes sense.
4 stars: This app is amazing in theory, but volunteers need a do not disturb setting for off hours when they're either sleeping or not available. That would also cut back on the amount of users you'd need to ping at one time. Four stars until something like that is implemented.
